Tweak-A-Sneak started with a simple dream: to inspire hope in children with cancer. Our inspiration comes from faith to walk out of the hospital in a pair of magical sneakers. Children are enriched in the act of healing, and kindness, through turning ordinary sneakers into extraordinary works of art. By mixing creativity, imagination, and self-expression, children of all ages can design shoes that are as unique as they are. But our mission doesn’t stop there. We believe in spreading kindness, recycling and repurposing sneakers, is our way of giving back to children globally that are in need through our partnerships with 501 3C children charities.

At Tweak-A-Sneak, our mission is to inspire creativity, compassion, and confidence in children through the art of sneaker design.
Tweak-A-Sneak was born from a creative dream in 2008, a one-of-a-kind concept inspired by the excitement and imagination of a “Build-A-Bear” experience, but with sneakers. Our vision was to create a place where children of all ages could design and personalize their very own pair of unique sneakers using art, colorful laces, paint, rhinestones, patches, charms, and endless creativity.
The idea was simple: give children the freedom to express themselves through wearable art.
Although the original retail concept showed great promise, the challenges and costs of launching a new retail experience made it difficult to bring the vision to life. For years, the dream remained on the shelf, waiting for the right time and purpose.
Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there lived a Wizard who had granted wishes to every child, woman, and man. One day, feeling bored with nothing left to do, he wandered through the town searching for inspiration — but nothing exciting could be found.
Then suddenly, the Wizard looked down at his feet.
